The Coalition against Racism succeeds to stop funding for the educational organization “Od Yousef Hai” which incites racism against Arabs
The Coalition against Racism in Israel along with IRAC - Israel Religious Action Center addressed the director general of The Ministry of Education in request to stop the funding of the educational organization “Od Yousef Hai”, located in Yizhar settlement in Hebron, West Bank; which received about 570,870 NIS from the Ministry of Education in 2008.

The Coalition Against Racism in Israel Condemns the Recent Racist Desecration and Destruction of Holy Places for Arabs and Jews
We urge the Israeli government, its ministers, security and law enforcement authorities, the Attorney General, and Minister of Justice to address the damage and destruction of the mosque in Tuba Zangria with the same uncompromising resolution as it does for Jewish holy sites that are attacked in Israel and abroad.

The Coalition against Racism requested the Government Legal Advisor to initiate enforcement against the "Marzel Patrol".
The organizations clarified in their application that the developments of events make it obvious that a number of extremists, against whom complaints have been filed in the past, succeed in exploiting the concerns of the established residents by inciting them to hatred, persecution and contempt of another population group and obviously racist activities, to organize them, dress them in uniform and to present them in the media as intending to spread mass fear among the immigrants and refugees in south Tel Aviv and all over the country.

The Mossawa Center is acting to recruit a private security company to guard and ensure the safety of Arab students in Safed.
The racist attacks against Arab students in Safed have exceeded all bounds and endanger the lives of the students in Safed. In recent months there have been a number of attacks of a racist nature, including burning cars and physical violence, that endanger the lives of the Arab students studying and/or living in the city of Safed

Winner of the Scholarship Issued by the Coalition: Tikva Menashe in the Anti-Racism Educational Project
Tikva Menashe, 42, resident of Kiryat Shmona, student of education at the Tel Hai College, won the scholarship. Tikva has been active and a volunteer for a long time in the "Mahapach-Tagir" Society, where she operates a summer camp for children from various populations in the city, with no support from any privateinstitutional entity.

The Anti-Racism Lobby in the Knesset and the Coalition against Racism Strongly Denounce the Calls by the Rabbi of Karmiel to Boycott a Joint Arab-Jewish Event in Honor of the Festivals….
The Rabbis statements were made after he had already spoken out last year against renting and selling apartments to Arabs in the city, and had signed what he called at the time the extremely racist "Rabbis Letter", and therefore it is no wonder that particularly at the time of these festivals, which should be the best time for reconciliation, the above Rabbi makes these provocative and racist statements.

The Mossawa Center calls on the Members of the Knesset to protect democracy and to reject the laws restricting sources of finance for human rights organizations
We hereby emphasize at the Mossawa Center that it is of supreme importance to continue the activity of these organizations in their real function of building up civilian society, and not to be drawn after the right wing which seeks to drag Israeli society down into racism, and even fascism.
